Manos Negras Red Soil Select Pinot Noir 2014

Manos Negras Red Soil Select Pinot Noir 2014

Patagonia is one of few places in the world that remains immune to phylloxera, an invasive insect that infamously decimated European vineyards for centuries. And though overshadowed by Mendoza, Patagonia’s cooler climate is perfectly adapted to Pinot Noir production—they’re well-worth a taste!

Tasting Notes: This subtly tannic Pinot Noir is full of blackcurrant, sour
plum, violets, and iron on the palate. The finish is quick and dusty.

Pairings: Chimichurri steak, lamb chops, portobello mushroom burger.

Varietal: Pinot Noir
Soil Type: red, iron-rich soil
Fermentation: malolactic fermentation in oak
Aging: 12 months in french oak (20% new french oak)
